Hike was great!  We had been waiting for the 2 to open and it did finally.  Got there around 6:30 and the lot was maybe 25% full?  Cold at the bottom, warmed up in the middle, then cold and windy up top.  On the way back it was warm from about 30 minutes from the top all the way down to the bottom.  Lot was mostly full at around 1:30pm but there was some room.  Other areas on the 2 on the way back were packed.  Hike was fun – all uphill on the way up of course, got really tough the last 15 minutes (mostly because we were worn out).  Top was VERY windy, but we walked to the far side and found a log to sit behind and it was great.  The views was AMAZING.  Not a ton of people and those that were there were friendly.  Not a lot of bugs (very little) and some very interesting red plants/flowers along the way.
