Fourth hike for me and I think because of the 4th of July weekend I was dehydrated from drinking alcohol over the weekend. I regret it because at the last switchbacks going up I was feeling fatigued, stomach ache, and a bit of a headache. I did not enjoy the ascend but the descend was a whole different story. I seemed to have caught my second breath and felt very good again. The big trees are beautiful and saw a few wild life including some big bear paws. Sunset was beautiful ????
