Started my hike at 7:15am. Trail is in mostly good condition. There are some muddy sections because of the recent rain.  Small parts of the Bear Ridge trail are overgrown but it’s not bushwacking. Last third of a mile is a steep incline and got the heart pumping. On the way back there were volunteers doing trail maintenance. Thank you so much! There are bathrooms at the parking lot. The stats – 9.8mi (Bear Ridge and Sitton Peak loop), 2100’ elevation gain, 3hrs 43min, brought 1.5L water, 16oz. electrolytes, and a breakfast sandwich. Happy trails!
