Third times a charm as they say.  I had been waiting to hike this peak since February but because of rain or snowy conditions had to postpone.  It was worth the wait.  Adventure began a little past 9am in already sunshiny conditions.  It was already starting to warm up as soon as we trotted off to the trail.  Trail was narrow for the most part.  As previous reviews have stated, we did encounter about 4 ‘false’ peaks.  Coming up to the rock scrambling portion, I encountered another hiker coming down who had slipped and caught his fall, had he not done that he may have toppled on me.

My other hiker friends and I wanted to make this hike fun by dressing up in honor of the peak name.  One of the gals was already wearing her strawberry 🍓 shirt to hike up in and kept getting compliments from almost every hiker we encountered! lol.

Other than that,  trail conditions were great. Just be careful of a prickly type plant.  I have a couple of cuts from accidentally making contact to it.  There were also 2 rattlesnakes on the trail, saw many beautiful butterflies and then of course a lizard.

Thanks Strawberry Peak.
