A bit of hidden gem.

I started around 10:30 later than I wanted but the drive is far and I think it worked out better for temperature.

Met a lovely local woman who hiked up to the first peak and a bit down the others with me. Which made the hike super enjoyable and it flew by.

Headed up to Sawmill solo and let me tell you, it was amazing. So glad I chose to hike this during the week. I was the only one on the mountain. So peaceful. I will definitely be returning with friends. This area is beyond gorgeous. Giant pines and the flowers in the meadow were just starting to pop. Only two very small snow fields left. To top it off there were big fluffy clouds in the very blue sky. Beautiful day.
