This is not an encountered problem, but as forums get longer and longer I do realize that I need to click on the last pages to get the most updated posts of that specific forum. I was wondering if the latest forums can be the top of the forum; this is more of a recommendation, but I think would be useful as Forums get bigger.

We have a sub-menu option called “Latest Topics” that will do that, across all forums that you have access to. Here's a direct link: https://socialhiker.net/community/view/latest-topics/

Sorry for the confusion, I was referring to posts within a Forum. For example Mount Wilson Post, the post start from the oldest. Again, this really isn't a big problem, I just thought it would help for future forums that have lots of posts.

Now I understand what you're talking about. The discussion forums are “threads” that are essentially replies to replies to replies. Viewing them in the reverse order would most likely be confusing.

In the example you gave, some of those “replies” really should have been entirely new topics. I'll try to keep a closer eye on this so it's easier to follow.
