Well we changed our hiking plans to summit Mt Wilson via Sierra Madre vs Chantry Flat, and so it was a tougher and longer hike than what I prepared for. We hiked to the top on a day that large helicopters were delivering building supplies and a smaller helicopter was air lifting people on a line to the top. Since that was happening we couldn’t just walk anywhere to explore the grounds up top, but it was a cool sight to see. The weather was great!
