COVID-19, fires, weather, and other mountain closures threatened to thwart my goal, but today I completed the final of the 18 peaks.
Today I hiked Hot Springs Mountain ~ 9.8mi, 2400ft gain, and at 6,535”, the tallest peak in San Diego County and located on the Los Coyotes Reservation – thank you for the warm welcome by Cody and Gina!
The day could not have been more beautiful! Blue skies & sunshine. I expected some snow, but got much more and it was absolutely gorgeous!!! I did not expect this much beauty hiking on a road!
This year I hiked all 18 of the Southern California Six Pack of Peaks Challenge peaks.
