We got to the parking lot a little before 7 a.m. and there were plenty of parking.  There weren't that many people on the trail yet.  The hike was pretty easy until the last 1/2 mile from the summit. It was pretty steep, and required a little of scrambling to go up. It's pretty easy to slip and loose your footing on the way down, but still manageable.
