Well this was my first hike and the weather was perfect! We got to the trailhead at 7:30am and there were quite a few cars there already. The temp was about 44 degrees. Maybe less, we could see our breath. We had layers on so it was easier to unpeel as we climbed to the peak. There were many people on the trail and everyone was polite and kind. It had rained the day before so the trail was packed down which made it better to hike. There was no ice or snow anywhere. Once we got to the peak it was a little difficult to find a spot to eat our sandwiches but we eventually did. The views are amazing. The clouds rolled in very quickly and it got very cold and windy at the summit. Be prepared!
