For starters I thought this trail would be a lot colder than what it was but it wasn't too bad. We started off at the base and started hitting the peaks on the way. It was a fairly easy hike but the elevation gain made it hard to adjust too but once we did it wasn't too bad. On the way we passed Mt. Pinos and said we would catch it on the way back therefore we kept hiking. We hit the second peak and got to write a couple of messages in the notepad. We got to hike with 3H hiking group so we were having fun and enjoying everyone's company. The stones that were stacked up together looked amazing and pretty cool. We got to the third peak and there was a sign but they told us that the sign was at the wrong spot and that the actual peak was a little further up. We hiked back to the campground and took a well deserved lunch break. That was the most delicious ham/salami sandwich and chips that I've had in a long time. I made sure to pack some electrolytes tablets to put in my water for emergency. On the way back towards the end we hit Mt Pinos which I was surprised there was no sign. It was still nice because there was that awesome tower in the background. It was peaceful and the weather was amazing.
