Third time in my life to the top of Mt. Washington, first time hiking. I can say I am happy it’s done, the Tuckerman’s Ravine part of the trail was absolutely brutal. Combined with the fact that the top 900 ft elevation was all in cloud cover so really could not see 50 – 100 ft.

I am completely flabbergasted that folks hike and ski down the ravine .

Bottom 2/3rds of hike the wind sounded like a hurricane was coming , extremely gusty. The top exposed part the wind was just consistent and brutal.

Due to the wind bugs while present never stood a chance ????
