The trail conditions were great, the hike was harder than we expected. Started hiking at 8:30 AM, half of the group made it the top the first time at about 1:00 PM. Met the other half of the group about half way up those last tough 1,000 feet of switchbacks, and turned around so everyone could go to the top. Returned to Chantry Flats at 5:30 PM. That was quite a hike?

Yes! The drive to and from San Diego was the worst part of the day, but the hike was great fun!
