We arrived at  the trail head a little after 8am, and started our hike up the steep trail from the parking lot up to the main trail at around 8:20am.  The hike started getting hot at about a half a mile in, and had to stop take off my jacket.  We made it to the Top of the Notch restaurant around 9:50 and stop for a quick break, before we headed up to the peak.  The sky was clear, and the weather wasn't to hot.  Our group of 9 started separating into smaller groups as we made it closer to the peak, we started to reach the peak at about 11:50 for the first , and 12:20 for the last of us.  We hung out at the peak for about an hour.  My arm quickly turned red after being in the direct sun with very little sunscreen for a good while, I quickly applied sunscreen everywhere.  After we took our peak pictures, we headed back down and stopped at the Notch for a quick beer and fries, before heading to the trail head, and then out for some pizza.
