We, Hike Beyond the Hills, met up at 0700 and stepped off at 0713. Temps were in the low 40's to start and quickly rose to the mid 60's. There were several groups stepping off in front of and behind us. Busy trail today. Conditions on the trail were perfect. No mud. No slippery conditions (especially on the final ascent to the summit). The recent rains made the traverse up and down pretty easy. Trail is well marked and very easy to follow.
All told, our group of nine misfits managed 9.58 miles with 2161′ in total elevation gain in 4 hours and 43 minutes.
