Wonderful family hike with our adventurous son. Beauty surrounded us as we made our way to the tree line. The scramble was as expected, long, steep, and at times tricky to follow the trail – the cairns helped keep us on the trail. With some steady footwork we reached the peak – we marveled at the brisk wind, 40° temperature, plethora of tourists exiting the Cog, and took a few moments to look for a view in the clouds.

The decent was comfortable as we made our reverse scramble to the tree line. We completed the 6 peak challenge, and look forward to many mountains in the future.
