Oh man! Started at 5:30 am. The skies were clear and the temperature was perfect. The first couple miles were a tough steep incline, then it evened out a little. Shade almost the whole way up. We hammocked at the campground for a snack break. Hit the peak at 11:20. The way down was not bad just long and in the warm sun the whole way. This was a beautiful trail though. Passed some streams on the way for filtering water.
