The hike up Gorgonio was just as described. Easy fir .5 mile, steep hike up to Vivian Creek campground. Nice continual elevation gain through half way camp and high creek camp.

Made our way up to the saddle and saw the first view of Jacinto.  The next section of the hike was very steep, then about 1 mile from the junction of the divide trail, it got cold and windy. I perseveared and made my way to the top in about 5 hrs.  Trek back down was easier than going up. i think i finally made my stride hiking downhill.  I am a big guy so hiking downhill gives me more of a challenge.  Was very happy to see high creek cam and vivian creek campground. Plenty of water along the way, last water spot at high creek camp.

Beautiful at top and can't wait to do it again
