What  A beautiful hike. We were met with some of the most beautiful scenery including giant sorrow cacti—this trail is in the middle of Saguaro National Forest— and some of the most beautiful, blooming desert wildflowers. It was a sunny day that afforded miles of virus.  Once we got to the top, we were treated to 360° of beautiful views of  The Tucson basin and the surrounding mountains including the Santa Catalina Mountains as well as the prominent Picacho Peak. Definitely want to bring lots of water, especially as it gets warmer. And during those warmer months you would want to get a very early start as there is very  little shade.
