This hike was part of my long run so the route was longer than what most folks would d0. I overshot Fish Trail and had to backtrack. I then got to Middle Ridge. The short cut route was tough with 22% grade. I thought going through the Narrows would be quick but I had to do a lot of water crossings. My first conquest for the 6 Packs of Peaks Challenge. I did take several long breaks. Temperatures was in the 50s and the skies were clear.

  1. PS. Just before my outing, I met up and took a photo with a group of 6 Packs of Peakers. I caught up with them on the short cut. Great job folks!

  2. Wow! You’re a fast Runner. I’ve got to purchase better trail shoes for this trail. My first Peak Challenge too. Great to take a picture with you. Maybe I’ll see you on another Peak Challenge. Good luck
