The weather was amazing which is why I decided to go on the hike. Trail conditions were perfect just make sure you pay attention to the signs or check a map. I accidentally took a wrong turn and ended up at the starting point. Once I reached the candy shop I realized I went in a loop and had already done 6 miles. Decided to go back up to the summit and second time was a charm. I ended up doing a little over 16 miles and the trail is only 10. There’s a few rocky places in the first few miles but nothing crazy. The last half a mile to the summit is the hardest part because it’s steep.
