All the Roses Froze

It might be because of the weather (I was dying of heat on Mt Diablo and Mt Sizer as well) but Rose Peak seemed to be quite easier to hike than these two!
The hike was amazing; although the wind was so strong that it almost blew me off the hills! And, oh my, was it cold. If there were roses, they'd be frozen. (The temperature didn't get over 43F and in the morning, the ground was covered in frost!) The forecast said the wind would be 3mph but it certainly didn't feel like only 3mph and in the end, when I checked after coming back home, the internet said the wind was more about 7mph. Whatever it was, it was freezing and I had to walk leaning against the wind. This hike was so much fun!
Even though I started the moment they opened the park, when I got back to my car, it was dark already and the park closed. Good thing they leave the exit gate open!
