Started at 6:30am. Should have started earl yet, actually I had planned to but the snooze button change my plans. The hike up to the last mile is great, pretty easy, then they hit you on that last mile with the big elevation climb. I made it to the top around 8-8:30am. The way down started out good. Then it started getting really hot, and I was really worn out. I took a wrong turn and was 1/2 mile off trail before I checked my map and realized. I was burning out fast. But the adrenaline of realizing I was on the wrong trail kicked in and helped me get back on course and finish out the last mile. Got back to my car at about 11:50.

trail is in great condition. Well groomed. Didn’t see much trash. Only one pile of dog waste… so not too bad.
