Such a great day for a hike! (As always in SoCal). We got there around 7:30 AM and the parking lot was full but we found parking right down the street and not a far walk to the trail head. We got a free permit right before we began the hike, and started at 7:45AM. It was beauuutiful! Fall colors everywhere, nice and cool, windy and there was still lots of water running in the creek. It seems kinda easy to get lose if we didn't have picture directions so I would def do some research before you go. We stopped once to relax after the long switchback and finished up the last 2.8 miles (which felt like foreverrrr), but it was so nice! Finished around 1:30 PM at about 14.5 miles but we detoured a little on the way down. Def one of my favorite hikes I've done in California. Great workout and great views:)
