This was an absolutely beautiful hike. I am not sure why, but for some reason I was not too excited about this one at first. My idea of it was that it would be rocky. Why did I think that? I have no idea.

We started at 6am and made it to the summit in 3 hours and 15 minutes! We were just killin it for time. The way up was so beautiful. We had light, but were not really in the sun for the majority of the hike. I loved the flat area with all the bushes. That was so cute! The rocks during maybe the last 2 miles on the way up (or first 2 on the way down)  were not my favorite, I tend to drag my feet more than I realize so I kept stumbling on the way down. I never fell though so at-least theres that!

It was another beautiful day with clouds like when I did Cucamonga Peak. Clouds are my FAVORITE. I can not get enough of them. They started to dissipate towards the end of my hike but I saw them at the beginning and that was all that mattered.

Although this was a 16 mile hike, we made great time and did it in exactly 6 hours and 29 minutes (minus the 40 minutes we sat at the top). It was beautiful, one of my favorites so far!
