Last time I hiked Flatiron was 25 years ago! I don’t think I’ll wait that long again, but after this, it might not be that soon, either! We started at sunrise and were in the shade all the way up and most of the way back. It was slow going and slick on the way down. When I do it again, I will take gloves for my hands on the rocky downhill. Total time was about 5 1/2 hours, spending about a half hour at the top. The Supes are gorgeous and this hike has the best up close and personal views!

  1. This hike can be intimidating, but it feels like an adventure. Scrambling, using your hands, getting blasted by the wind at the top. Not to mention there’s a lot of UP. 🙂
