Due to construction around the base of Mt. Bachelor, we parked and started our “hike” from the Sno-Park, crosses the Highway and began our ascent from next to Sunrise Lodge. Loved hiking under/through the chairlifts! As a downhill skier, seeing the mountain I had just skier this past winter completely barren of snow, gave me a new appreciation of what it took to create the ski resort: lots of lava rock to negotiate, but it was an absolutely beautiful day, excellent weather/temps, plus great views going up, as well as at the top!
