On an all too familiar trail in Rancho San Antonio, I made my way through the waves of hills that eventually brought me to the peak. Although I have visited the area several times, I had never hiked black mountain. The rock formations at the top provided a great place to eat lunch and look over the hills towards the ocean. After enjoying a quick lunch, I ran back down through the rolling hills while weighing lunch options.
