This is a great training hike because it is pretty steep but the trail is smooth and in great condition, so there is no wear and tear on the joints.
Got started before sunrise as the forecast was for warm temps. Noticed some bobbing headlamps higher up – people with the same idea apparently.
Saw almost no one on the way up. Saw many, many people on the way down!
