Snowfields to cross – could be difficult

Beautiful views from the top made me wonder why I hadn’t hiked this before.  Nice to see Baldy from this perspective.

Accomplished in boots and trekking poles.  Did not use micro-spikes, but they definitely would have been beneficial.  Intermittent icy patches throughout, with almost full snow coverage in the last third of the way up.
