I noticed the most cars I ever seen at Ice House trail head on the way to Baldy today and lucked out as everyone must have been there. I even ended up with a front parking space, not that I am worried about walking….Don't get me wrong still busy but on a hot day with an 8:30 am start we didn't encounter large crowds until the summit. We did the classic loop backbone down the bowl. It was a great day even though the sun was strong.
