Hike Beyond the Hills hike: Cecilia and I have an upcoming birthday. We set out for a pre birthday hike via Register Ridge. First time for us both. Friends Rochelle and Meredith had done RR before.

It was a beautiful cool morning. Sun warmed up to a comfortable 70s. Trail was was steep but easy to follow. Views were gorgeous and got pockets of strong winds.
Once we arrived a the saddle winds were consistently flowing and temps felt cold.
We encountered a few people at the summit. Took our celebratory photos and enjoyed our lunch. Made our way down Devil’s Backbone and arrived to warmer temperatures by the time we made it to the Notch.
