Started hike at 5:00 am. Hiked the loop starting at the Baldy Bowl/Ski Hut trail for the first time. It’s a tough endless incline!! Descending Devil’s Backbone felt considerably less scary versus ascending it in past years. Weather was hot and the trail was busy.
