Not satisfied with just doing Mount Wilson, I decided to ascend Bastard Ridge to Jones Peak, and then followed that over Hastings Peak, Mount Yale, and Mount Harvard on the way to finally summiting Mount Wilson.  14.0 Miles and over 6,000′ of elevation gain, it was made more difficult by constantly bushwhacking, and the fun class 2 scrambles from Yale to the summit of Harvard.  I don't think I'd ever do this adventure again, but I'm glad I did.

  1. Nice job! I did that exact route a ew weeks ago. Awesome day, even with the heat and I got to enjoy a turkey sandwich and chips before heading back down. Congratulations that is a tough one. Especially that short route up Bastard Ridge.

    1. Bastard Ridge was rough, but doable. I hate bushwhacking, so that bit leading up to Yale and up to Harvard were definitely not my favorites. :-p
