Trail snow-covered at times – Gear and expertise recommended

Day started of a bit chilly but sun was out, most of the snow was gone.
Lions Head was a great trail, gradual to steep inclines. Very icy in some areas. Snow flurries mid day ass expected. The snow covering made the trail more beautiful. Spikes definitely needed. Very windy and cold at summit, cloudy but amazing views. Not able to stay long due to conditions. On the way back from summit we got an emergency alert for wind and snow squalls. We were moving at a decent pace until then. Trail was getting covered quick, footsteps from previous hikers were covered in, and we were snow covered as well. Visibility was maybe 30ft. It was amazing to watch the forest change to a beautiful winter wonderland.
