This was my first of the Six Peaks; I was not feeling well, but did not want to miss it. The elevation ascent was gradual until just before the peak, when it was steep climbing over boulders. It was buggy, but not too bad. We saw several snakes, and a few hawks. The mountain laurels in bloom were absolutely amazing, it was like walking in a tunnel of blossoms at one point.

Pretty cool to be in CT one minute, in MA for 10 minutes, then back in CT:)
