April 5th I started my way up to summit Bear Mountain in Salisbury, CT via the Appalachian Trail. Hiked up to Riga Shelter and Sites to rest up before my third summit for Six Pack of Peaks: New England.
April 6th I woke to an amazing sunrise and got ready to head out and onto summit Bear Mountain.

Weather was perfect as was the trail. Couldn’t ask for better days to take on Bear Mountain. Clear skies, sun shining and not too cool. Definitely recommend this hike to others and worth the trip.
