Watching the weather for a week. Saturday looked like a beautiful day for hiking. Really good anted to see what it was like to do 2 peaks in one day. Welch Dickey was perfect. Brandon checked the reviews on All Trails and found most go up counter clockwise.  Got a bit of a late start but it didn’t change our excitement. There were a lot of fallen trees on the trail, and some wet/slippery spots. Standing at the bottom of the first vertical slab to climb up was a moment of oh geez how am I getting up that. There were a few of those moments. But we pushed on. This was definitely a challenging trail for someone without a lot of mountain hiking experience. Once we got to the first view point it was just breathtaking and there was no way I was stopping until coming down on the other side. Absolutely amazing 360 views throughout the hike.
