Better than going alone!

It was a beautiful day. Since it was Saturday we passed many people as we were going up since we started late (10 am). The parking lot was full so we parked on the side of the road near the trailhead. FYI, the Candy Store was closed today, so if someone was counting on getting their adventure pass they missed out. We had picked ours up the day before. Weather reports gave high wind advisory, but fortunately it did not pan out. Mild breeze with some wind at the top of the peak and at Four Corners. I could not find a hiking partner up to the day before, so my daughter who does not hike decided to come with me and I was so glad she did. We had a great time and she did a magnificent job! Great Peak to start out the challenge.
