January I made some pretty big goals. I’m thankful to have these incredible opportunities to tackle them despite the chaos around us. I signed up for the six pack of peaks challenge…yesterday Mira and I were up at 3:00am and headed out at 4:00am, we made it to the trailhead and started our ascent at 5:40am. We conquered three big summits yesterday! 18.9 miles! 5,617 elevation gain-three peaks over 8,441 Bighorn, 8,694 Ontario, 8,858 Cucamonga, 6,165 calories burned! Nearly 13 hours of summit hiking. Only one other person yesterday did the same route. Absolutely stunning views, hard work, and reaching our goals through perseverance. Started in the dark, finished and home as the LA curfew went into place-you can see the bare roads at ???? sunset. One more summit to reach my goal! Mira-heading into her 14th summit-incredible hiking buddy. Making friends along our summit hikes. It’s an experience of a lifetime and I’m so thankful for it. #sixpackofpeaks #52hikesin52weeks #52hikeschallenge #hikerbabes #100hikeschallenge #chasing waterfalls #justhikeit #yougogirl #hikergirl #done ✅ just do it-don’t give up, you’ve got this!

  1. It was great to meet and visit with you and Mira on the trail 🙂 Now I wish I’d gotten just a little earlier start so I could have added Big Horn to my list, next time! 🙂
