It was a hot and sunny 87-90 degree day/summit with a mostly exposed and dry trail. There were so many bugs covering the trail. Lots of wildflowers are out and blooming with so many different kinds to see that are beautiful. Still green trees and canopy in some portions of the trial. Pretty rocky trail with loose rocks for footing. Began the trail around 12:30pm and finished in 4 hours at around 4:30pm. This was including climbing the Bill Williams fire tour lookout at the top and hanging out in there for the views and talking to staff for about 10-15 minutes or so. As well as including many brief 1-2 minute water breaks along the trail at a very reasonable slower pace. Definitely climb the tower at the top for the views of Sedona, Flagstaff and the national forest!
