Planned this hike fairly early in the morning to beat the heat (was home by 11:00 am!).  The trail climbs steadily up throughout the hike.  Great views of Mount Washington and the Three Sisters and a cool fire lookout at the summit.  I met a cute little chipmunk who sure was friendly!
