We started our hike in spikes and switched to snowshoes the last mile up. It was a complete white out at the summit, we didn't even see the Lookout Tower until we got within a few yards. It was cold and cloudy with no views, also a little spooky.  There were no other hikers the whole 10 miles, I guess nobody was as crazy as we were that day!
