Got to the trailhead at 6pm. Only one other car there. Trail in great condition despite the recent fire. Made it to the summit in 1 hour 15 minutes. A little wind but not bad at all. Great views. Amazing to see the back side of south sister where I sat two weeks ago and watched the sunrise. Cool summit, the crater is insane. Hung out at the top for a bit then headed back down. 3 hrs all together(forgot to stop the tracker when I got down that’s why the photo says 3:45) with a couple stops. Car is set to camp, so stayed night in the lot, stars everywhere, no one else around. In the morning woke to 6 cats in the lot at 8 am. Left and stopped at Scott lake, dee Wright observatory, and did proxy falls as well before returning to Eugene.
