A cold start but I peeled off the sweat jacket after the first mile of rather steep uphill and never put it back on. Air quality wasn't good today but the view improved a bit by the return half of the hike. Lots and lots of switchbacks made the middle of the trail pretty easy going up AND back down. 🙂

There was a very friendly big black cat near the start of the trail. He seems to be the official greeter.  He was shmoozing a couple of young lady hikers a few hours later when I came back.

One more to go to finish this year out: Mt Tam. Trying to do it a week from Monday. I expect to also reach my 2020 goal (publicly stated at our 2019 Finishers Party) of 2020 miles somewhere on Mt Tam. 🙂
