This peak was a doozy. We started at 10 am since we drove down from Sacramento. It was hot and dusty. The trail has a 3229 elevation gain and the 12.38 miles took us 4 hours. It was up up up hill on a gravel access road. But we made it to the top to a view of Silicon Valley and a foggy Pacific Ocean.
I don’t think his this will be a return hike to the peak but there were lots of trail options that were well traveled.
There were two parking lots so plenty of parking on a Monday morning.
