It was a windy and refreshing day and we only passed about 17 hikers which was wonderful. I think the hardest part about this one besides 3.81 miles of straight up the mountain was the 8 am start time. They do not allow anyone in before that. Plus, I could not make it to the top where the survey marker was. My legs are just not long enough…ha! The ladder was there but the ropes were not long enough and I could not reach it. Great hike and lots of beautiful flowers!!
