On Tuesday 3/27/18 I hiked Mission Peak:2/6 in the NorCal Six Pack of Peaks Challenge. Took me just a little over an hour to submit and boy was it windy! I almost lost my hat. The trails were clear and dry, but watch out for cow paddies! I stepped in one on my way down… ? The last half mile was a beast and a little tricky to navigate with the wind, but I made it and took my obligatory photo at the top. Not going to lie, with the wind blowing, I was a little scared to climb the pole, but the lady taking my picture kept saying, you aren’t going up? So I mustered some grit and made the step up. Lol. Found two geocaches on the trail including one trackable that is six years old and originated from Germany! Great climb and workout! ? #sixpackofpeaks #sixpackofpeaksnorcal @ Tip Top Of Mission Peak

Advice: I found the final scramble up the rocks a little challenging especially with the wind. At the base of the rocks you’ll see the metal dog bowl, right around there is a dirt trail that leads you to the top. I took it coming down from the summit and found it was a lot easier! Happy Hiking!
