Went through Baldy Notch, the Backbone, and returned through the Baldy Bowl Trail. Back down was very steep, rocky, and lots of sliding in the sandy dirt. Trail conditions to the summit were very good and easy to follow. Very cold and windy, with some very strong gusts, up the backbone and on the summit. Popular and crowded Saturday, no surprise. Long day but feel very accomplished!
