We did not realize when we were driving to the trailhead truly how rough the road was. My little Chevy Spark made it, but we got a few scratches along the way. Would definitely recommend a higher clearance vehicle.
Also, AllTrails will try to tell you this is 7.5 miles round trip. It is not. Based on comments I saw for the trail, my friend's watch reading and my own, you're looking at anywhere between 9.25 – 9.75 miles.
The trail itself was gorgeous! The wildflowers were blooming towards the top and the views were spectacular. The trail had a few fallen trees, but nothing impassable. 10/10, great way to spend a sunday.
